Noémie and Dan’s paper, Reaction Paramters Influencing Cobalt Hydride Formation Kinetics: Implications for Benchmarking H₂-Evolution Catalysts, was recently published in J. Am. Chem. Soc. Through the study of a stable cobalt hydride complex, the complex factors– beyond acid pK_a— dictating hydride formation reaction kinetics are revealed!
